I’ve been working on a ton of fun things in the studio and it’s really sparked my creativity. It’s inspiring to see what I can come up with given new materials and techniques. As always, it’s really important to me to see if people enjoy them, so I wanted to share some of the new items you may not know about!
I’ve started making air fresheners
I found a way to print on felt and add essential oil, making cute air fresheners that are 100% my designs. I really love using my sublimation printer to create items that go beyond my paper products!
Since launching my first set of designs, they’ve sold fast! People are really enjoying the fun designs and bold colors - and I hope the fact that they’re reusable is helping too! I love them because each design is unique and creative, just like my customers. :)
I’ve introduced compact mirrors
Comfortable and practical, compact mirrors have always been a fantastic gift idea, or a staple bag item.
I’ve sourced sturdy quality metal compact mirrors and through sublimation - printed on metal directly for a unique 1 of a kind design.
My goal was to bring modern and trendy style to an item that was traditionally seen as old fashioned. I want them to be fun, artistic, and fit our everyday lifestyle.
I’ve expanded cell phone cases
Finally, I’ve expanded my cell phone cases to include more designs and more options. I give most of the thanks to my production pattern for this - but I also am exploring sublimation and UV printing at home to make 100% of the line in house in the future. Either way I’m happy that I can use quality cases with my original art to create fun options for my customers.
Conclusion
This time last year was a scary time for many of us. I was worried, I was stressed, and I wasn’t making art.
But now I’m so happy to say I’ve found my creative groove again. I’m designed, I’m drawing, I’m experimenting with new products - and I’m enjoying every step of the way.
